Marathon Symbol

Not only is there a Marathon symbol on Guilty Spark's eye. Well actually the famous Marathon symbol can be found EVERYWHERE in just about every Halo game. It is kind of an Easter Egg, but it is so over done it is scene as just a common symbol. This symbol is literally EVERYWHERE in the Halo series. But the Marathon Symbol is actually a Reference to Bungie's old Game called "Marathon" along with the same symbol. Not is it yes an Easter Egg, but actually the symbol is cleverly placed in the open or hidden even subliminally through out the Halo games, Trailers, Preview Art, Advertising, and marketing . It is a very interesting phenomenal symbol. I am curious if it will be a continued tradition in the Halo series after 343 Industries takes over. I am curious also on the name 343 guilty Spark and the new company 343 Industries, let's see what they do! :)
